As per sources makers of the Padmavati film has taken an insurance cover of 140 Crores with many advantages in the favour of the producers in critical unexpected situations. Padmavati is made with a whopping budget of 190 crores and by far the highest budgeted movie in Hindi film industry. Distributors and producers can claim up to 80 crores in case film screening get affected but in case if the movie is not released or banned by any state government they cant claim even a single penny from the insurance company.
