Third Generation of NTR enters Cabinet
The third generation of NTR clan, Nara Lokesh took oath as minister today. The TDP national general secretary who has been elected as MLC in the MLA quota represents Chittoor district. He is being conferred with Panchayati Raj Ministry.
Bhuma Akhila Priya
Bhuma Akhila Priya who became a MLA at age of 25, is celebrating her birthday today. She is the youngest MLA who is conferred with cabinet berth at the age of 28. She is the first woman from Kurnool to become a Cabinet Minister.
Backward classes given importance
Chandrababu has given significant importance to Backward classes. As many as one third of the seats are now allocated to this category. Out of the 26member cabinet, 8 belong to BC. Three new BC ministers Kalla Venkat Rao, Pithani Satyanarayana, Kalva Srinivasulu join the bandwagon of the existing five ministers KE Krishna Murthy, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Ayyana Patrudu, K Atchaiah Naidu, Kollu Ravindra
Reddys get prominence in Cabinet
In an critical move, Chandrababu Naidu nominated four ministers belonging to Reddy group into his Cabinet to gain strong hold over the Rayalaseema region. The region which has a majority belonging to Reddy Community has been conventionally supporting Congress and YCP. This includes Amarnath Reddy from Chittoor, Adinarayana Reddy representing Kadapa, Somireddy ChandraMohan Reddy representing Nellore apart from Akhila Priya. Also, Palle Raghunatha Reddy who was dropped as minister, is being nominated as government chief whip. Rama Subba Reddy is nominated as MLC in governor quota
Four YCP defectors inducted into Cabinet
Four out of twenty-one MLAs from YSRCP who switched alliance to TDP were given ministerial post. This includes Akhila Priya, Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Amarnath Reddy, Adi Narayana Reddy. Three out of the four defectors belong to Rayalaseema region except for Sujay who represents Vijayanagaram.

Two additional MLCs found place in the TDP Cabinet which includes Lokesh and Somi Reddy Chandra Mohan Reddy. Yanamala Rama Krishnudu and Narayana are the ministers under the MLC quota
Five Ministers droppedÂ
Due to health reasons, Bojjula Gopala Krishnareddy has been removed from his post. He submitted his resignation as MLA after being dropped as minister. To give importance to BC in Anantapur, Palle Raghunatha Reddy has been dropped from Anantapur. Kimidi Mrunalini, Pithala Sujatha and Ravela Kishore Babu have been dropped for failing to work together with the party and various other reasons
