Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organizational elections for 2017-19 term were held in the month of April 2017. For Executive committee, many positions were filled unanimously, elections were held for Executive vice president, two director posts, one secretary and three regional coordinators.
There were many controversies surrounding these elections, where main allegation was prospective candidates “bought” a lot of votes and enrolled huge number of new members to help them win 2017 elections. It is also known to our readers that dissident group of TANA has filed a law suit over these new memberships, subsequently an amicable solution has reached out by both the parties.
Finally, the counting process has been completed today (Saturday), official results are yet to be announced. According to the information obtained from our sources, here are the results:
