Baahubali 2 is continuing its strong hold at the overseas box office even after completing its second week. After embarking on a record setting openings on April 28th, the SS Rajamouli directional went on to broke several box office records in the first two weeks. The film has already emerged as the highest grossing Indian film in overseas and set a huge benchmark for upcoming biggies.
In its third weekend, Baahubali 2 raked in decent revenues and took the total past $ 19 M mark by the end of Sunday in US. After collecting $ 363 K on Friday and $ 679 K on Saturday, the magnum opus managed to nab $ 471K on Sunday ( still counting). The film is likely to touch the $ 20 M in its full run.
Sharwanand’s Radha which opened in theatres last Friday disappointed the trade circles. The entertaining cop drama managed to collect $ 100 K ( approx) in the first weekend. The film was traded for 1.5 Crores in overseas and it is likely to recover only the expenses. Despite having entertaining elements, the film failed to impress the audience due to its monotonous story line and incoherent narration.
