Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government is getting ready for the third Nava Nirmana Deeksha to be held from June 2, the bifurcation day. The week-long event would have Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his Ministers and officials taking part involving people at every level.
The event starts with the Chief Minister addressing the people at Benz Circle in Vijayawada, where it started in June 2, 2015, a year after the bifurcation. The venue was fixed as it was the hub of the Samaikyandhra agitation before bifurcation. The police have already diverted the vehicular traffic on the Chennai-Kolkata and Vijayawada-Hyderabad national highways to keep Benz Center available for the event.
Chandrababu Naidu would release vision document at the event that would follow series of papers from each department in the State. People would be asked to discuss on the issues concerning the state, including the vision plans of the Chief Minister for Amaravati in particular and Andhra Pradesh in general. Discussions are planned across the State with the people on issues like electricity, IT, industries, agriculture, rural development and inclusive growth.
The event, this time is set to conclude at Kakinada on June 8, the day when Chandrababu Naidu assumed charge as Chief Minister of the State. This would also mark the third anniversary of this government where Chandrababu Naidu is set to place his progress card before the people.
