After having a memorable 2016 with two back to back hits in the form of Nannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage, NTR has clearly dominated all major events in recent times by winning the best actor award. Having already bagged the laurels in IIFA Utsavam, Zee Awards, Film Fare and Sankharabharanam awards, NTR has now added another feather to his cap by winning the best actor award at SIIMA.

NTR, for his impressive performance in Janatha Garage, won the award last night in Dubai. As NTR is unavailable due to the busy schedule of his current project, Devi Sri Prasad accepted the award.

Happening beauty Rakul Preet Singh bagged the best actress award for her stylish performance in Nannaku Prematho. Pelli Choopulu, last year’s sleeper hit, has been rewarded with the best movie award.

Nani won the best actor critics choice award and SP Bala Subrahmanyam was conferred with Life time achievement award.
