Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan said that Uddanam Nephropathy will remain an apolitical issue. He said that the issue will be brought to the attention of the government and critiqued the previous governments for ignoring the issue. The actor-cum-politician said that he will seek the support from the opposition parties if needed.
JSP organised ‘Medical symposium on Uddanam Chronic Kidney Disease’ for the prevention of kidney diseases on Sunday in Vishakhapatnam.
Kalyan said that he is one among the people of Uddanam and said that so many people have gathered here only to solve their problem. He held that it is deplorable that there is nobody to fight as the humanity flares up. JSP chief said that he is fighting for humanity and not for a caste or a religion. He thanked the Harvard University doctors for their humanitarian efforts in finding solution for the issue.
Kalyan met with Harvard physicians who explained to him the situation at field level. He inquired about the possible ways to solve kidney problems. He revealed that various reasons were cited for the Uddanam kidney disease. The JSP supremo hoped that the doctors should be able to find a solution to the kidney problem soon. He held that the first step towards solving the kidney issue has been taken.
Doctors who participated in the medical symposium, said that there are several reasons for kidney diseases and one of the major factor in drinking less water. Doctors said that kidney problems can be caused due to genetic problems, nutritional deficiencies, and drinking water which contains silica minerals.
A team of Doctors from Harvard Medical School, NTR Varsity Vice Chancellor Vision participated along with Kalyan and others.
