The decision of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to make ‘Telugu’ language as a compulsory subject is being welcomed by all the sections of the society. Manchu Manoj expressed happiness over the decision taken by the Chief Minister. The Tollywood actor in a tweet terming the KCR as “Telangana Gandhi” appreciated this move.
The TRS supremo ordered that Telugu language must be taught from first class to the intermediate and only those institutions which adhere to this rule will be given recognition. Also, moving forward the names of all the government and private establishments should be displayed in Telugu on their signboards.
