Chennai branch of CBI has registered criminal cases against YSR Congress Party MLA Dr.Adimulapu Suresh and his wife IT Commissioner in Tamil Nadu – T.H. Vijayalakshmi. The case was registered for possessing disproportionate assets. Vijayalakshmi is named as A1 accused while Suresh is A2.
The couple reportedly found to have amassed assets worth Rs 1crore, more than official source of income. Vijayalakshmi is IRS officer of 1994 batch.
Suresh joined politics in 2009 by as ‘Civil Servant’ from Indian Railways. He was elected as MLA from the Santhanuthalapadu Constituency in 2014 elections.
