Ram Charan teamed up with Boyapati for a mass entertainer. As “Rangasthalam” movie that will be released in March’2018 will cater for class and urban audience more than the masses, Charan has probably though this kind of action potboiler would be a perfect follow up film. But now, there are rumors that this movie would be remake of a Salman Khan starrer Hindi film.
Salman’s film “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, released in 2015 is a romantic drama film. Now there have been rumors that Boyapati- Ram charan’s film is official remake of this Hindi movie directed by Sooraj Barjatya. This movie was a super hit in Hindi and collected more than 400 crores world wide. It was dubbed into Telugu also with the title Prema Leela.
However, film unit or the director did not confirm this. Moreover, Boyapati has not done any remake so far in his 12 year career. Also, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is not an action film in the style of Boyapati. All Sooraj Barjatya’s films (like Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Maine pyaar kiyaa) focus more on romance and drama. But there could be a chance that Boyapati might have taken basic line of this and modified it to make it his kind of action entertainer.
We will have to wait official confirmation or condemnation from the unit to know whether this movie is a remake or not!!
