Can things get any worse than this? Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who chaired the Cabinet Meeting, has made no mention of the ‘AP Special Status’ issue. This came as an absolute shocker to each and every journalist who was waiting outside the CM Office, to grab in the details of the Cabinet Meet.
Prior to the Cabinet Meet, reports emerged that, Chandrababu Naidu will take a major call over moving the no-confidence motion in the Parliament, TDP’s take on fighting against the Centre for Special Status. Surprising all, the AP CM limited the cabinet meeting in allocating lands to various industries and companies. Apart from allocating lands, other general issues related to the developmental activities and finance have been the key elements in the cabinet meeting.
Shockingly, even the ministers did not bring the issue of ‘Special Status’ in the cabinet meeting. Only Chandrababu can answer the reason behind ignoring ‘AP Special Status’ in the cabinet meeting. Meanwhile, the opposition party, YSRCP reacted strongly in this context. YSRCP leaders lashed out at Chandrababu, calling him a villain, and holding him responsible for Centre not granting the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
