Naga Chaitanya in Mahanati biopic
Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has finally agreed to step into the shoes of his grandfather ANR in the upcoming film Mahanati, which chronicles the life of iconic legendary actor Savitri.
Ever since the biopic went on floors, there has been a lot of curiosity among audience on who will reprise NTR and ANR roles as both them are contemporary actors of Savitri. The makers have approached Naga Chaitanya and NTR. Jr to essay these two characters. But, both actors refused to essay the roles.
However, Naga Chaitanya has finally allotted two days to shoot for his grandfather’s role in this biopic. As the makers couldn’t find suitable actor for NTR’s role, they decided to use a digital graphics for him.
Mahanati stars Keerthi Suresh in the lead role. Naga Ashwin is the director and Aswini Dutt is the producer.
