Telangna Congress president N Uttamkumar Reddy announced that Congress was going to win the Warangal Lok Sabha byelection with a margin of 102500 votes. Talking to media this afternoon, he exuded confidence that win was certain for Congress. He said the party had got the mood of the people surveyed by a national agency. He said people were asked a question who they would like to vote in the byelection. As per the survey the party was on the winning path. In 2014, the TRS won the seat with 392500 vote majority. Now, Uttam said, the tide turned against TRS.
Talking about candidate selection opinion from all the senior leader had been taken into consideration while selecting candidates. He said the party would announced the name of the candidate on Saturday.
Rapolu unhappy over T-leadership
Meanwhile, Party Rajya Sabha MP Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar came down heavily on the state party leadership for ignoring him in taking decisions on important matter. He alleged that he had been subjected to humiliation in the party from a year. Even at the time of visit of Rahul Gandhi to Adilabad, he was not humiliated and he was not accommodated in the delegation that went to Rahul to invite him to Adilabad. ” I am subjected tremendous humiliation in the party. I am being insulted just because I am from backward class community. I would take this to notice of the leadership at an appropriate time,” he said in New Delhi.He however, work for the win of the party candidate in Warangal byelection. ” For me party is important. I will work of for the party nominee. A tough fight is on cards in Warangal. It is too early to talk about the victory for the party. Leadership has to keep in mind that they should carry all leaders along with them for good performance,” Anand Bhaskar said.
