Even though all the universities located in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have begun the process of admissions, only two universities- Potti Sriramumulu Telugu Univerrsity, BR Ambekar Open University- are lagging behind. As these universities fall in the Tenth Schedule of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act-2014, both states have to formulate their guidelines for their respective share of seats. As these universities are not in the priority list of the two governments, guidelines have not been evolved so far delaying the issuance of notification for admissions. While Telangana side is ready for admissions, response from Andhra Pradesh is lukewarm. These universities are planning to admit from the students of Telangana for the time being.
