TDP’s ‘Mahanadu’ in Vijayawada not only saw bashing of BJP, YSRCP, and partially Janasena, it also witnessed JC Diwakar Reddy’s controversial statements. He suggested that the officials are having nightmares with AP CM CBN’s frequent conferences day-in and day-out. At the same time, JC also ridiculed the way ‘Janamabhoomi Committees’ are operating at the grassroots level.
Many collectors and sub-collectors too brought to the notice of the CM regarding the all-day-long conferences.
In a shocking move, the AP Government announced that pensions will be handed over to the beneficiaries regardless of the Janamabhoomi Committees. At the same time, the AP CM also directed to handover the ‘Pension Letters’ to beneficiaries on the first day of ‘Navanirmana Deeksha’.
CM has sent a strong warning to leaders at the ward-level after reports emerged that they are demanding Rs 5,000 from the pension-beneficiary to hand them their pension letter. The selection of the beneficiaries will be carried from June 2nd to June 8th during the ‘Village Level Meetings’, and the pension will be handed over on June 10th.
At the same time, the conferences will be limited to one day in a week, lessening the burden of the bureaucrats and government officials due to conferences.
