Women Empowerment Minister Paritala Sunita has made an unsparing attack on YCP President Jaganmohan Reddy. She has drawn comparisons to the myths of Vijayadasami festival that demons like Mahishasura were killed by the Goddess to mark victory of the good over the evil.
Sunitha has not hesitated to call YCP leader as ‘Jaganasura’ meaning ‘demon Jagan’. She says that any bad language is suitable for Jagan since what he speaks is ‘rakshas’ (demonic) language always. She reminded YCP leaders that women of AP performed the divine task of defeating and killing ‘Mahishasura demon’ in 2014 itself when Jagan was defeated by TDP.
Sunitha asserts that their government is doing everything possible to help DWCRA women under ‘Pasupu-Kumkuma’ programme but Jagan is trying hard to create doubts in the minds of people. She said that Chandrababu regime provided Rs. 11,180 crore funds to DWCRA groups while they could get just Rs. 276 cr under YSR rule.
Sunitha’s severe criticism did not come unprovoked. Of late, Jagan started using such language as ‘Narasura’ and ‘Narakasura’ to attack CM Chandrababu Naidu. It has angered TDP greatly. So, they are paying back in same coin to Jagan.
