As expected, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhara Rao is coming out with surprises in his first Cabinet expansion. About nine names are considered for this. Apparently, KCR left out KTR and Harish Rao in this expansion. They may be accommodated in the second expansion that will come after the Lok Sabha election. TRS leaders are talking that KTR will be made full incharge of the coming parliamentary election.
Senior leader Kadiam Srihari is also not being given ministry in this phase. KCR has telephoned different MLAs not getting ministry and convinced them. The likely names to get ministry are Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Indrakaran Reddy, Jagadeesh Reddy, Eetela Rajender, Vemula Prashant Reddy, Koppula Eeswar, V. Srinivas Goud, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy and Yerraballi Dayakar Rao.
Two ministries are being given for Mahbubnagar and Karimnagar districts considering their significance in terms of parliamentary elections. Talasani Srinivas Yadav is being taken to indicate KCR’s top priority to the BC community ahead of the election. TRS won 13 out of 14 assembly segments in Palamur region. This is why KCR has given higher importance to this.
