Backward Rayalaseema rights activist and former MLA Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy met with CM N Chandrababu Naidu at Undavalli and held discussion on AP political scene and his future political career.
He revealed his decision to join the TDP soon.
Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy said that he would contest from Srisailam assembly segment if CM gives him ticket. Even otherwise, he would be ready to give all support if the TDP ticket is given to Budda Rajasekhar Reddy.
Speaking on why he is joining the TDP, Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy said that under the prevailing political situation in the state and the country, AP will need a visionary and experienced leader like Chandrababu Naidu. Another term of five years should be given to Mr Naidu as he could only put the state on the track in the past five years and he has to complete the unfinished task of stabilising the development projects.
Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy said that YCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy was thinking of being qualified for the CM post just because he’s the son of former CM YSR but the people would rather prefer an efficient and capable leader like Chandrababu. He further said that by joining hands with anti-AP Modi, Jagan has prepared the ground for the burial of his YCP party in AP.
