AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy returned from Hyderabad and held the first meeting of his Cabinet Sub-Committee on corruption in the previous TDP regime. He decided to personally review the reports of the Sub Committee every fortnight. He asked the Committee to meet every five days and speed up the process of unearthing financial irregularities. Jagan asked the Ministers to identify the aspects where the previous government made needless expenditure also.
The Jagan government is hell-bent upon digging up all the works in over 30 projects and make the previous regime accountable for the financial irregularities. Meanwhile, Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy visited the Chandrababu Naidu’s residence surroundings along with local farmers. He said that two farmers suffered heavy losses as their lands were taken away by the previous regime unauthorisedly to lay the approach road for Naidu’s residence.
Ramakrishna Reddy said that an estimate would be prepared on the extent of loss caused to the farmers. The same losses would be recovered from Chandrababu Naidu and former Minister Narayana to repay the farmers.
