The BJP leaders have long been criticising both CM Jagan and Chandrababu Naidu but they have not crossed a limit. Now, there is an increasing threatening tone. BJP national leader Sunil Deodhar says that CM Jaganmohan Reddy will have to face investigation in the CBI and other cases as per the process and without any exception. Though a casual remark, it was made with far serious consequences. This was the first time any BJP leader made such an open attack since the last election.
At the same time, BJP AP leader UV Krishnam Raju has asserted that former CM N Chandrababu Naidu will go to jail because of his illegal activities during his regime. In an indirect reference to the TDP, Krishnam Raju said that one should hit even a small snake with a big stick but in this case there is no need for a big stick as the snake is already dead.
Thus, the BJP leaders are making bold attacks on both the ruling and main opposition parties in AP as of now. Both the regional parties are not giving a fitting strong response to the BJP leaders thinking that it is not worth the effort. The BJP has drawn a blank in recent Assembly elections. These days, BJP leaders are making undoubtedly serious comments against Jagan and Naidu. This is giving rise to doubts that the Modi-Shah duo may cause a serious political crisis in AP that will help BJP get a strong foothold in the coming days.
