In ‘Mangalavaaram’, a mystery man is seen hiding his face behind a face mask. It is not a gimmick but a compelling dimension of the suspense thriller. On Tuesday, while celebrating the commercial success of the film, the makers decided to treat the audience to the uncovering of the twist. The reveal doubled up as a tribute to the writing talent of writer-director Ajay Bhupathi, with those in attendance praising his narrational skills. Actor Vishwak Sen was more than delighted to take off the face mask from Priyadarshi, the unsuspected man behind the mask. Speaking on the occasion, Sen raised a toast to Ajay’s talent. “Director Ajay speaks honestly for two and a half hours through his movies. I am a big fan of his directorial sense,” Sen said, adding that he would like to team up with the ‘RX 100’ director soon. Priyadarshi profusely thanked Ajay for offering him the film. Tharun Bhascker sprang a surprise by dancing to ‘Appadappada Thaandra’ on the occasion. “Ajay Bhupathi is not only a director but is also my brother. I know how much he strove and struggled for this film for a year and a half,” said producer Suresh Varma M. With music by Ajaneesh B Loknath, the film has Ajay Ghosh, Ravindra Vijay and Shravan Reddy in key parts.
