Geetha Govindam combo Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram are teaming up again for Family Star, an out-and-out family entertainer. The shoot of the film is nearing final stages and the makers are considering a summer release for the film. If NTR’s Devara is pushed ahead, Family Star will hit the screens on April 5th all over. Else, the team will finalize a solo release during the summer season for Family Star. A bunch of films are already in the summer race.

Family Star is a family entertainer and has Mrunal Thakur playing the leading lady. A portion of the film was shot in the USA. Gopi Sundar is scoring the music and Dil Raju is the producer. Vijay Deverakonda needs a strong comeback and he aims it with Family Star.
