Telangana government today announced the much awaited reservations among the divisions for various social groups for GHMC elections, with 50 per cent ear marked for women. Out of the 150 divisions in the GHMC, 50 divisions have been reserved for BC of which 25 meant for BC general while the remaining 25 for BC women. While 44 divisions remain unreserved general and 44 for general women. Among other groups 10 seats have been reserved for SCs (five general and five women) and two for ST (one for woman and one general)
