Akkineni Nagarjuna’s connection with devotional subjects is not a new one. He already appeared in classical films like Annamayya, Sri Ramdasu and Shirdi Sai. Legendary filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao directed all these three films.
According to the latest reports, the hit making combination is likely to work for one more devotional film very soon. It is learnt that Raghavendra Rao has readied a subject which is based on Lord Venkateswara Swamy and Nagarjuna will be playing the role of Hathiram Baba, a saint follower.
