Telugu Desam party said it was respecting the verdict of the people of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Reacting on the result of the elections, T-TDP president L Ramana said the party would analyse the results and probe what went wrong at the field level to take the corrective measures.
” Respecting the verdict of the people, we work for betterment of the Telangana. We will continue to remain with people,” he said.
Another TDP leader and MLA Revanth Reddy also said he was respecting the sentiments of the people. He said he had never thrown any challenge to the TRS on the outcome of the results. “It was TRS leader KTR who hurled a challenge that the party would win 100 seats and would resign from the cabinet if it failed. When we took up the challenge he had gone back and made amends to his statement that TRS would emerge single largest party,” Revanth said.
The star campaigner of the party and TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh is yet to respond on the results.
