It is not uncommon for actors and actresses to have fights with each other, because of the intense competition in the industry. While most keep these ‘fights’ private, a few of them decide to wash dirty linen in public.
One such catfight broke out into the public recently. This involves well anchors turned actors Anasuya and Rashmi. Bad blood between them has existed ever since Rashmi replaced Anasuya in the hugely popular Jabardasth series.
Anasuya scored a hit with her first screen appearance, ‘Kshanam’. Close on the heels of that appearance came Rashmi’s hot debut with ‘Guntur Talkies’. The movie was not very successful and Rashmi also took some flak for the extreme raunchiness and vulgarity in the film.
Anasuya is said to be gloating about her victory over Rashmi in every party and gathering. Apart from that, she also took to Twitter to ridicule a PR person who supported Rashmi’s bold appearance by calling it new age cinema. Rashmi is said to be quite peeved and understandably so.
Apparently, she has vowed to take over more projects from Anasuya and show her who’s boss. Let us see where this goes.
