Pawan Kalyan is a media shy person. But that has never really been a problem for him as most sections of the media have been largely supporting towards this charismatic actor. But right now, everyone in Telugu media circles is angry with Pawan Kalyan.
The actor always refused to give personal interviews to journalists. Even during film promotions, he records a single interview with a popular anchor like Suma or Jhansi and distributes it to all media houses.
Despite the presence of so many eminent journalists in Telugu media, Pawan never obliged their requests for an interview. So everyone was shocked and surprised when Bollywood critic Anupama Chopra got a chance to exclusively interview Pawan Kalyan on the sets of Sardaar Gabbar Singh.
Giving no one an interview is fine. But giving exclusive and special privilege to an outsider, when so many eminent telugu journalists have been waiting for an opportunity, is something that has not gone down too well with our media.
