Akkineni Nagarjuna is having the time of his life. He has scored a hat-trick with ‘Manam’, ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana ‘and now’ Oopiri ‘. Add the superb success of the TV show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu to this. It is a very rare feat in the film industry and Nagarjuna is now the toast of the town.
But not very long ago, Naga was not enjoying this kind of success. In fact, his business empire was in a much better shape than his film career. But everything changed with Manam. While most of this is due to Nagarjuna’s script selection and hard work, Tollywood insiders say there is another force in play.
Apparently, a ring is behind Nagarjuna’s new runo of success and that ring apparently belongs to the late great Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu. The grand old man of Telugu Cinema reportedly gifted this ring to his son Nagarjuna in his final days.
Call it luck or call it coincidence. Or perhaps it is just the old man himself watching over his son. But that ring definitely seems to have brought a lot of luck to Nagarjuna.
