The region of Telangana has witnessed series of bandhs, rasta rokos etc since over a decade. It was June 2 which put an end to the agitation. Many people have thought there could be no standstill for the common man’s life. When TRS is in power, then there could be no bandhs at all.
But the things are looking in a different way. Massive agitations are taking place in many districts of Telangana, demanding to create a new district.
Mahaboobabad of Warangal district is the worst hit of new era agitations. People demand to create a district there. Many leaders of the ruling TRS taking active part in bandh etc. Agitators called for a rail rook in Mahaboobabad on Wednesday. Thousands of train passengers have been suffered with this.
Several agitators have staged a rasta rook in Ramagundam of Karimnagar district demand for a new district. Many political parties demanded to divide Ranga Reddy district into three. Even in Mahaboob nagar district, there are demands to create new districts in different places.
Predicting the creation of Bhuvanagiri districts, some MLAs put their demands in front of the Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma. These MLAs urged not to merge LB nagar and Ibrahim Patnam Assembly constituencies in Bhuvanagiri.
The issue of creating new districts is the hot topic in the state. Even the common man is also discussing about it. After announcing the draft, there could be more agitations and protests in many places. It would be challenging for the government to convince the people, over this issue.
