The film Robo 2.0 is currently on sets. Superstar Rajinikanth is playing the lead role in this movie and Shankar is the director. Interestingly, another Tamil Superstar was also supposed to be a part of this movie and he is none other than Kamal Haasan.

Shankar approached Kamal Haasan to play the negative role in this movie and while the actor was interested, he ultimately rejected it. Now after many months, Kamal has revealed the reasons for this denial. “In the early days, I used to act with Rajinikanth quite often. But after we both became bigger stars, budgets did not work out. That is when we decided that if we were to act again, it will have to be a in a film that is produced by either of us. With Robo 2.0, I did not want to trouble an outside producer”, said Kamal to Tamil media.

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are good friends in real life. Let us hope that the two of them get together on screen one more time.
