Ace producer Dil Raju and talented writer – director Harish Shankar have teamed up for their next project which features Stylish star Allu Arjun in the lead role. The film was formally launched today ( August 29th) and the regular shooting will commence from mid September. Quirkily titled Duvvada Jagannadham, the big budget project is yet to get the female lead. Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that Kajal Aggarwal is in talks to play the female lead in this film.

Interestingly, both Dil Raju and Harish Shankar dropped in the sets of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film which is happening in Hyderabad. Sources revealed that they had a long discussion with Kajal Aggarwal and chances are likely that she will be a part of the Allu Arjun – Harish Shankar project. Reportedly, Dil Raju is keen on roping in the Brahmotsavam actress and insisted her name to Allu Arjun, who gave a positive nod to the suggestion. It looks to be seen if Kajal will bag this plump offer.

In what can be said as a comeback of sorts, Kajal Aggarwal, despite back to back debacles this year in the form of Sardar and Brahmotsavam, bagged a golden chance to act opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi and also appeared in an item song in NTR’s upcoming film, Janatha Garage. She has also got a couple of Tamil films in her kitty.
