The formal launch of Stylish star Allu Arjun’s next film with Harish Shankar at the helm was held in Hyderabad on Monday. Coming from the stables of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film has been titled as DJ Duvvada Jagannadham. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to render the soundtrack for the film.
Speaking to the media, the Gabbar Singh director said that DJ would be a completely different film from what he has done so far. He added that the film’s plot will be laced with his trademark humour and good commercial values. Harish added that he has designed an excellent character for Allu Arjun, which will be the first of its kind to the actor. He affirmed that the film will have a comfortable release for Summer next year.
Harish Shankar’s forte lies in handling the hilarious elements very well and it looks like he is going to take it further with Allu Arjun this time. Bollywood cinematographer Ayanaka Bose has been roped in to can shots for the film. The remaining cast and crew will be announced very soon.
