After a shattering debacle with his debut movie, Akhil Akkineni has been waiting for his time and for the right script that he can fit in. After a series of rejections, the actor is said to have signed a film in the direction of Vikram Kumar who directed Manam with Akkineni family. Nagarjuna and Akhil have been highly impressed with the script and the movie is said to be a love story.

As per the latest news, Nivedha Thomas has been roped in to play the female lead however an official confirmation is awaited. Vikram Kumar is currently working on the script and the movie is all about a Hindu boy who grows in a Muslim family. Annapurna Studios will produce the film which will start rolling from November this year.
