Hyderabad: Admitting that he had connection with revolutionary-turned-renegade Mohd. Nayeem, BC welfare activist and TDP MLA R. Krishnaiah has claimed that Nayeem had always wished to see leader from under privilege section become Chief Minister of Telangana State.
Krishnaiah was being interviewed by a news channel on Friday. Krishnaiah said that he frequently visited Nayeem when the former is working in Radical union.
“Since Nayeem had committed atrocities, I am now backing the Telangana government’s move to keep a full stop to his illegal business,” the BC welfare activist said.
However, Krishnaiah alleged that the Telangana government is resorting to mud-slinging politics against him by spreading false propaganda.
He further said that he would be ready to co-operate with the SIT officials in the ongoing case if he is issued notices. Krishnaiah alleged that 99 per cent of TRS leaders have links with Nayeem. “There are Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, who have links with the gangster,” he said.
There is no transparency in SIT probe, it should be shifted to the CBI, he said.
