It’s been a great debut for 17-year-old Roshan, son of the very famous actor Srikanth with Nirmala Convent. The film may have garnered a great deal of negative reviews, but on the whole, the audience have been appreciating his performance in the film.
Not many debutant actors have shown as much promise he has. Director G Naga Koteswara Rao may not have directed a great film but what he did was found a very promising talent the industry should really look forward to in the future.
Generally, the debut films of star sons are showcases where there’s a display of everything the actor can do. And without going so overboard, making a simple start is a huge plus for the boy who’s studying in his 12th class now. From giving us a peek into his ability to emote, dance and act, the film was a decent start for a young boy. And it is interesting how he’s one of the best debuts in star sons in the recent past.
Speaking to a leading English daily, Roshan shared that he’d not do another film immediately and that he’d wait it out for the perfect time. “I will better my acting, diction, dances and will even learn fights. And then I will be back with a bang,” he said.
Well, we think he’s going to have a great start when he returns. Just a careful selection of stories and trying to set himself apart from the crowd will help. What do you say? And it’s interesting how he was first hesitant to even be a part of the film! Fate, eh?
