Telangana new districts,Telangana new district names
Hyderabad: Now the re-organisation process of Telangana districts has come to a fag end. And the Telangana government is hurrying up to make administrative arrangements ready for 31 districts. In fact, the government is working out to reach Dasara deadline in a bid to make the new districts function.
The big question is – Will the Telangana government seek the opinion of people on another 4 districts? Will the objections raised from the people on creating new mandals and revenue divisions be ignored? Neither a specific time frame was given to people for objections nor technical aspects were explained to people. Now, will the decision on creating four new districts is legally valid?
Now the officials are worried as to what the government’s next move If anyone knocks the door of the court over the issue. There was rumour doing rounds that the KCR government had already zeroed in to create 30 districts. And Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has deliberately took time to decide on four districts Gadwal, Sirisilla, as per the wish of the people. But, surprisingly, Asifabad came into picture on Monday evening. With this, the number of districts have risen to 31.
Now Congress leader DK Aruna’s wish is fulfilled with KCR clearing the decks for Gadwal districts, in fact, the local TRS leaders too have put their efforts in explaining KCR about the advantages. A separate Sirisilla district was also announced. There were media leaks that KCR had earlier decided to carve out Sirisilla district.
When there severe dearth of IAS officers for newly proposed districts, KCR is mulling to operate the administration with the Group-I and Group-II employees. We should wait and see how this plan will work out from Dasara!
