Going over the top might sometimes lead to a communication gap. That’s what happened between SS Rajamouli and Krish Jagarlamudi. The reason for this is said to be a fake appreciation letter that was circulated by an enthusiast publicity team of Gauthamiputra Satakarni.

Here is what actually happened

Recently, an appreciation letter from SS Rajamouli lavishing praises on Krish’s efforts in churning out Gauthamiputra Satakarni has been officially released to media by the PR team of Gauthamiputra Satakarni. The letter went viral and was also published in all newspapers.

Here comes the big twist. The letter is a fabricated one

Last week, SS Rajamouli interviewed Krish following his grand success with Gauthamiputra Satakarni. In this interview, Rajamouli appreciated Krish for his immense directional abilities and his cinematic rhythm in retelling the glory of one greatest emperors in Indian history.

Taking things for granted, the PR team of Krish has fabricated Rajamouli’s interview into a written letter and released it to media. Knowing this SS Rajamouli has asked Krish for clarification. But as it didn’t come even after three days, Rajamouli openly condemned Krish and his team for their exagerration and over enthusiasm.

Rajamouli took to Twitter and came up a series of Tweets to clarify the matter. He stated that the letter has not been written by him, but was manufactured from the excerpts of his interview with Krish. He said that the content in the letter is taken from interview, but it was too dramatic.

No doubt, the team has went overboard to create more publicity for the film using Rajamouli’s name. But, it is very disappointing from Krish to not respond and clarify on the fake letter even after Rajamouli’s request.

Some sections of media commented that Rajamouli’s letter is way above than exaggeration. This might be the reason behind Rajamouli’s open clarification.
