Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today expressed his impatience over the activities of the opposition in the state and blamed that the leader of opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy and the then Congress leaders have tarnished the brand image of the state, on the global platforms.
Lamenting that the YSRCP chief was a criminal and attending Courts on every Friday on corruption allegations, he stated that the opposition party is trying to damage the image of the state at the international events. He warned that he would not allow them to do like that. He alleged that many of the investors still thinking about corruption in the state before entering here.
Sharing the achievements of just concluded three-day National Women’s Parliament (NWP) with the media, he deplored that the opposition YSR Congress party has been trying to damage the image of the State by provoking the public during every prominent occasion like National Women’s Parliament, National Science Congress, International Fleet Review, International Investment Promotion programme and many others.
Supporting police action against MLA R K Roja, he recalled that she said she had warned that she would disturb the NWP. He also strongly supported Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao’s comments suggesting to keep women at home like cars at parking place, the Chief Minister said that there was nothing wrong in his comment, but problem only in his expression.
However, Chief Minister deplored that some media, particularly national media tampered NWP’s image with negative reports. He also find fault with media’s reports on Kodela’s comments. He warned the opposition that there was a limit for everything in the democracy and he would not let allow them to take the law and order into their hands by provoking the common man.
