It was Bollywood and Kollywood filmmakers who relied mostly on Telugu films. Most of the successful Telugu movies have been remade in these languages however the Telugu audience have been witnessing number of remakes in the recent times. Mega heroes have been completely focussed on remakes. Chiranjeevi is remaking Kaththi which will release as Khaidi No 150 and Pawan Kalyan signed two remakes which will release soon.
Ram Charan too is shooting for Dhruva which is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Now one more Mega hero Allu Arjun is in plans to remake a Kannada movie titled Badmaash. Bunny has been keen on remaking the film and he is said to acquire the remake rights of the film. If not Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish too is the front runner to remake the film which will be produced by Geetha Arts. Top production house PVP Cinema too has been showing lot of interest in acquiring the remake rights. We have to wait for some more time to know which hero will turn Badmaash in Tollywood.
