Amitabh Bachchan may lead the Hindi remake of ‘Oopiri‘ if the latest news coming out of Bollywood is to be trusted. The actor may reprise the role played by Nagarjuna in the Telugu version and Karan Johar, who holds the remake rights for ‘The Intouchables’ in all Indian languages, is going to produce this movie.
Karan Johar shares a very good equation with Amitabh and he reportedly has been in talks with the iconic actor for the role. For the role played by Karthi, both Ranbeer Kapoor and Varun Dhawan are reportedly being approached.
The movie’s script and content have great potential for the Hindi market and with the much wider global appeal that Bollywood commands, this remake should do phenomenally well.
