Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu before riding into elections in 2019, wants to make sure that every household is securing an annual income of at least Rs1.2 lakh. In a Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas(MEPMA) governing council meeting on Tuesday he asked the officials to draft a strategy so that the target is met.
Minister Nara Lokesh on Wednesday said that “To ensure that every family in AP makes an income of Rs. 10,000 month, we’re working with all departments to integrate MNREGA with other schemes.”
77.7% got placed of the 1,12,053 people who have been trained through Skill Training and Placements scheme in last three years. The government disseminated Rs 239.81 crore through Vaddi Leni Runalu. In the TDP regime so far, Rs 6,045.01 crore was mobilised through bank linkage scheme.
The per-capita income of the state is Rs1.22 lakh. The Chief Minister instructed the officials to draft a document on ‘Vision 2022’ after reviewing the MEPMA report.
