It is a known news that Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi has been granted special permission by the Andhra Pradesh government to screen shows on 24X7 basis throughout the festival season from January 10th to 17th. While this never-before-seen approval by the government is said to be a welcome move by many trade pundits which will be a huge boost for Agnyaathavaasi exhibitors, it is believed that a lot of lobbying has been done to acquire the permission.
As per our reports, AP minister Ganta Srinivas Rao, a highly influential politician belonging to Vizag region, has done extensive lobbying in granting the permission. It is learnt that Ganta Srinivas’ group has bought the rights of Agnyaathavaasi pertaining to Uttarandhra region for a whopping price. They have to recover around 12 Crores. Hence the minister has intervened and gave a favourable decision.
Agnyaathavaasi is set for a record opening worldwide on January 10th.
