Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that at least one person from each household of Andhra Pradesh should be digitally literate.He inaugurated a cluster of 75 MSME companies at the A-1 Convention Center in Vijayawada on Saturday. These engineering industries will be setup in Veerapanenigudem near Vijayawada.
Out of 145 companies that came forward to setup industries, 75 were picked through lottery. An investment of Rs250crore will come through these units which have been assigned with 52acres of land. It will create direct employment for 2600 people while several thousands of indirect employment opportunities. Of 75 units – 40 units are defence and Aerospace components, 10 units for electronics, 6 units for plastics, 4 units for service providers, 15 units of households appliances and others. The TDP Government aims to develop the Industrial Park as a model industrial park within a year.
Speaking on the occasion, the TDP supremo noted that he is working for the development even though the bifurcation left the state in huge losses. He advised people to empower themselves with technology.
