Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu name is also allegedly found in infamous Sahara-Birla dairy. Already this case has been creating political sensations after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit names were reveals, besides many other leaders, alleging of receiving bribes as Chief Ministers.
Bhushan has now filed fresh papers in the form of affidavit to substantiate his allegations. He is seeking a court-monitored probe by a Special Investigation Team into the alleged bribes paid to politicians, whose names appeared in diaries seized by the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Income Tax department.
The “Sahara diaries” — a collection of papers and computer print-outs found in raids on the Sahara offices in 2014 — reportedly carried names of politicians from different parties, along with amounts paid to them as bribes.
Bhushan yesterday mentioned some of the names found in the dairy in the Supreme Court. He repeated many times that Prime Minister’s name was found in the dairy stating `Guj CM’, `Modiji’.
Other names he mentioned include Sushma Swarajji, Chandrababuji, Mulayam Singhji, Mayawatiji, Pramodji daughter, Shiv Rajji, Laluji, Advaniji, Ravi Shankarji, Shindeji, Farooq Abdullaji, Uddav Thakareji, Digvijay Singh. On November 14, the top court had commented that there was zero material to order a probe and said there was not even the smallest material to substantiate the accusation.
