PM Modi’s sensational decision demonetising the money affected Tollywood in the most powerful manner. Many of the films shootings got stalled in the sets. Releases of many more films got stalled as filmmakers are holding their heads unable to decided whether to pay remunerations in black or white.

Filmmakers and buyers are holding serious consultations as to how they should come out of this crisis. Demonetisation affect didnot end with these developments. Demonetisation attack resulted in reshoots too.

Manchu Vishnu’s film Luckunnodu revolves completely around money and in the film in many scenes filmmakers showed Rs 500,Rs 1000 notes. But now the notese are banned and movie lovers will laugh if Vishnu fighting to own their banned notes in the film. Filmmakers should show new notes in the film for which they have to reshoot some scenes or should change in the CG.

Even Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu and Kittugadu Unnadu Jagratta too faced similar problems. It is comingout many more films which invloved notes are now planning for reshoots or undergoing cuts in the editing room. Some serials too faced the same problem and they too are reshooting those scenes.
