Entire opposition barring the leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been suspended for the day for not allowing the Assembly transact the business this afternoon. Legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu read out the names and moved the motion to suspend them from the house for remain time of day. The house approved the motion by voice vote. This happened after the opposition benches recovered from the jolt the CM gave after two-hour long war of words and raised slogans for the CBI inquiry in to the large scale purchasing of lands in the capital region by the ministers and MLAs and TDP leaders. Legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, said he would move a motion under 329 to close the debate. Speaker read out the rule and announced that the debate was closed amid the slogans from the opposition benches. The closure of the debate should facilitates chief minister’s reply to the debate. But the house plunged into chaos with unrelenting YSRC members continued their slogan chanting. Legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu warned the members of action if they did not honor the rule 329. Opposition members insisted on the continuing the debate. But, minister Yanamal said the debate couldn’t be reopened after it was closed when a motion moved under rule 329 and the same carried by the House.
Slogan shouting by the YSRCP MLAs continued demanding CBI inquiry. Ramakrishnudu requested the opposition member to resume their seats. As the order could not be restored he moved the motion to suspended members from the opposition for the day.
