Humour laced with double entenders, typical rural settings, heroines jiving across the banks of Godavari are some of the trademark elements that are quite evident in veteran director Vamshi’s films. The self-styled filmmaker is back with yet another comedy caper titled Fashion Designer, which is the sequel to his 80s cult classic ‘Ladies Tailor’.
The two minute trailer, which was unveiled earlier today, gives a glimpse of what Vamshi has in store for audience after the film’s release. The trailer is packed with adult humour with a good dose of oozing glamour displayed by the three female leads. A couple of dialogues sound to be a bit over the top, but the nativity factor is evident with the rustic visuals and glitzy songs. Toward the end, the trailer takes a serious turn leaving a little suspense.
Sumanth Aswin is introduced as Gopalam, a young village tailor who is in pursuit of the fortune ( Manmadha Rekha) that changes his life. What remains to be seen is whether he can match the comic timing of Rajendra Prasad who was the major reason for the success of Ladies Tailor. The three heroines, however, look like a terrible miscast for the film.
The music for the film was composed by Mani Sharma. Madhura Sreedhar is the producer.
