Guntur MP Galla Jayadev has got recognition for his fighting spirit on special status in Delhi. He is now elected as the TDP Parliamentary Party leader. He will be voicing the problems of AP in the national politics.
Meanwhile, Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu is made the TDP leader in the Lok Sabha. He is also known for his aggressive fighting against the opponents on the burning isssues like special status. Y Sujana Chowdary is the party leader in the Rajya Sabha.
The TDP won only 3 MP seats in Lok Sabha elections. But still the party leaders believe they will get more opportunities to fight for AP than YCP. They feel that the YCP is facing the disadvantage of not having the moral right to question BJP on AP issues.
