Punjagutta police on Tuesday arrested prominent Telugu Ghazal Singer Mr. Ghazal Srinivas over allegations made by a Radio Jackie.
Police said that the victim, who is working as RJ and Programme Head with a Web Radio lodged a complaint stating that Mr. Ghazal Srinivas was harassing her physically and mentally. Based on the complaint, the police arrested the Ghazal Singer.
Police said that the Web Radio is owned by Ghazal Srinivas. Police registered FIR under sections of IPC and Nirbhaya Acts.
Speaking to media persons at Punjagutta Police station, Mr. Ghazal Srinivas said that he treated the RJ as his daughter. “When I got wound to my shoulder, she served me and applied ointment and it is not a body massage,” he said.
