Andhra Pradesh Opposition Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy whenever addresses a public meeting regarding a protest, ensures to call few victims onto the dais to hear their greviance before he starts accusing the ruling party. The same protocol was followed yesterday at the ‘Save Vishaka’ MahaDharna conducted for demanding CBI enquiry into the land scam.
One such victim was an Ex-serviceman A K Bhasha complained about the 3acres of land allotted in 591/4 survey number to him in 2005 at Venkannapalem in Chodavaram mandal. He named Tahasildar P Krishnamurthy Pentakoti Appalnaidu and said that the revenue officials modified the survey numbers are allotted to another unknown person in 2008. He said after that many collectors came but nobody did justice to him despite numerous complaints.
It may be recalled that the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2005 was Y S Rajashekar Reddy who remained in the position till he died in chopper crash in 2009. It is evident that the land was encroached during the YSR regime.
However, Jagan accused Telugu Desham of stealing land from ex-serviceman. While on the positive note, he allowed anyone to come and speak, but unquestionably this is a self-goal for Jagan.
By giving A K Bhasha to voice his concern, Jagan unintentionally debilitated himself. The YSRCP chief said that CBI would detain Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Minister Lokesh and his aides for 20years. However, it is evident that not just TDP leaders but Congress and YSRCP leaders will also be probed by CBI.
